He was used to getting all the power he wanted without ever trying, but that sweet life was cut short when he met a certain Spirit fortune-teller.

Even after the negative magical power stored in the spellbook was defeated by the captives, there are descriptions in various books that he was doing evil as a mage in various places, and the legendary demon that brings disaster.

It's unclear how he was able to regain his magical power, but the name remains in the records of a research facility that is said to be visited by those who have lost his magical power, and someone is involved in his resurrection.
