Tamae

An enigmatic girl from the Far East who served as a spy to the Shogun behind the scenes. 

It was said that bad things would occur wherever she went, and was even rumored that she had something to do with the fall of the Land of Ena. 

As an ambassador from the capital, she tricked the people of Imari Village in order to obtain the Divine Blade that served as the key to the seal that imprisoned the Demon Fox, and succeeded in resurrecting it. 

No one knows of her past, but it is speculated that she might have been a former shinobi from her agility and skill with the sword.

Awoken Tamae 

Having been chosen to become the vessel for the soul of the Demon Fox, she stood in the way of her former brethren, the shinobi. 

The burning Magic of the Demon overwhelmed the skilled shinobi, and this power eventually devoured her, too.

 "I can see the moon..." 

Perhaps these final words she whispered were filled with yearning to her old days as a shinobi in her village, when she used to gaze up at the sky every night, lost in thought.
